Designed for young learners in Pre-K through 2nd grade, our Play and Learn Pods bring together small groups of 4–6 children for 80 minutes of playful, purposeful learning.  Each group is led by trained high-school mentors who bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to every moment.  Groups are always supervised by a teacher and adult. 

Each pod will spend 90 minute sessions that build social, emotional, and academic skills through: ​​

• Board & Card Games: Learning to take turns, play fair, and celebrate wins (and losses) with kindness.

• Numbers Time: Exploring patterns and problem-solving through abacus games, tangrams, and hands-on math fun.

• Reading Time: Developing language and confidence by reading aloud, listening to stories, and playing with sounds and letters.

• Fine Motor Skills & ImaginationDeveloping: dexterity through purposeful fine and large motor movements, and cultivating imagination through creative storytelling.

​​Each pod runs for 5 consecutive sessions, and families commit to attending all five to build consistency and community.
Pods are grouped by age (Pre-K, K, 1st, and 2nd) with an equal mix of boys and girls.
